AndrewLoves_ is a passion project. What started as a list of restaurants and constant recommendations to friends and family has slowly evolved to become AndrewLoves_. It’s all the things that I love. AndrewLovesFood. AndrewLovesDrinks. AndrewLovesTravel. AndrewLovesCooking. You get the idea.
The goal of this site is to provide you with honest reviews and insider tips on restaurants, hotels, airbnbs, and just some great products I’ve discovered over the years. I’m a researcher by nature, so I usually have a good pulse on the latest and greatest.
With the above said, anyone who knows me knows that I used to work as a chef. As not to disappoint, I’ve included a section on this site for fan favorite recipes.

The Guy Behind Andrew Loves
My name is Andrew. I am a Foodie and Travel fanatic. Originally from Boston, I’ve lived and worked around the world, from Paris to Hong Kong to Los Angeles to India - and what feels like everywhere in between.
Cooking runs in my veins. My mother’s family used to work as bakers in Canada, before moving to the USA. Some of my earliest memories are of going to my Nana’s house and making Jell-O with Cool Whip. As I got older, she taught me the basics to making cookies and cakes and frostings from scratch. At 18 years old, I was working in a boulangerie in Paris making bread and pastries for the summer. By the time I was 21, I was going to school for business and working in Research & Development for a Michelin starred celebrity Chef. Ultimately, I decided that while food is my passion, it is not something I want to make a career out of.
After graduating, I pivoted careers to focus on business and landed in the Home Furnishings industry. I’ve worked in Category Management, Sales, Sourcing, Creative and Product Development; however, as “jack of all trades”, my job is constantly evolving. Lucky for me - it keeps my day to day interesting and allows me travel the world, exploring new places to wander, eat, and rest.
